Been doing this project for a clothing shop in Wakefield called Monkey which was taken over by the company I design for called QBC in Huddersfield.
Had to do the design, build and add all content. Has been a pain but it’s just about there!
Used a shopping system called EKM Powershop, it’s not bad but has alot of floors which makes updating the site’s products a manual and tedious process. The customer service is pretty poor too, only had help a couple of times!!
Anyway, enough of me ranting..have a look at the finished website below..

Recently got the Gouka Design business back from the printers. Really pleased with the way the spot UV turned out on the black.

Updated the Gouka Design main website, user’s can view all examples in my portfolio and choose a style they like, they can choose from CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black)).
I’m unsure which colour of my portfolio I prefer, at the minute it’s cyan.

The card’s will have a spot UV on the front to try attract some sort of attention.

Well been a busy few weeks again, busy studio, too many flyer’s as usual at this time of year!
Will have some new print up soon, on other news today I launched a new website for a hair and beauty salon in Huddersfield.
It’s not my usual style of website, they wanted to go with a classic sort of web design.

Well this months going pretty quickly so far, as I still haven’t had chance to design my own business cards or do what I want but thats life I guess.
Recently I worked using flash cs3 for the teeshirtheaven website which is almost finished and found out that Action Script 3 looks pretty hard but has so many new possibilities. I need to get back into doing some tutorials as every year something new changes within web design.
This week I hope to get cracking on my business cards, an update of my website, create the website for a club and enjoy my dads birthday night out on Monday the 11th.
Hope the weather clears up from this awful rain, it’s still summer!

Well work at QBC has been pretty busy during the last week, I’ve recently been working on a few websites, a corp identity and menus.

The last week has been eventful, as will this week going into August.
I finally got my tattoo finished off on Tuesday last week and also got a new tattoo on my hand which in kanji means cute, dear & sweet…(pictures will be up shortly).
At work stationery was sent off for Bluebay Leisure Ltd and a menu for Vudu Lounge in York with a spot UV used on the front :).
I’ve been working on some newer design and planning new sites which will be appearing soon.
Well that was it for last week, this week I should have teeshirtheaven’s website complete and I’m finally 22 on Tuesday the 29th.
My 21st year has gone too quickly…As do all years with life being to short…
