Sorry for the delay, I was a bit worse for wear but I’m back to work again!

Well I’ve had a tough few weeks and I’ve been reflecting back on what’s been happening.

On the 19th I got dismissed from where I was working so for the moment I’m just freelance and hoping to find a job as soon as possible in the new year.

Hopefully I can do something new and exciting!!!

That was a pretty bad start to Christmas, although the rest of the Christmas Holiday has been great celebrating it with friends and family.

Received a late Christmas present today, my favourite drink Mountain Dew!

Got a full crate, love it…

Well it’s offically Christmas! Just saw the famous Coca Cola advert, now I’ve got to sit through a month of bad sofa adverts!

Found this the other day too, just some light humour :).

Well I haven’t updated this in a while, keep wanting to do and then my mind goes blank at the last minute.

Well Halloween’s gone and bonfire night, was pretty good this year :).

Been doing a mixture of different work recently again, working on e-marketing and a few flyers.

I’ve recently had some new work in too, which I will add to my portfolio as soon as I can!

Created a new site called SCRPBK/SCRAPBOOK, this is currently in a draft stage and you can view it at www.scrpbk.tk.

Well it’s pretty late, like usual I seem to do work after work and seem to end up doing it late at night.

At work I’ve been doing a mix of posters, menus, flyers, brochure ideas, created a new brand identity for Blue Bay Leisure (Artwork coming soon) and updating websites.

For my own work I’ve created a new logo for teeshirtheaven and will soon have the website up and running for this local company and just doing some small flyers for my friends gig he’s putting on.

BOOKS

I really, really want design books! But never have the money, saw the following book a while ago called ABC3D by Marion Bataille which uses excellent typographic ideas within a pop up book.

Thought that book would be really expensive, it’s only around £10 on Amazon which is a bargain.
Can’t wait to get the logo lounge collection, brochure design, letterheards etc. Wish I could get a discount like I could back as a student.

Last week I did a mix and match of work, I did ideas for new menus and a website for a client and also updated the website for where I work.

I work at QBC doing design for bars and clubs + corporate clients. We in the design studio decided we needed to update the website so I created for now a blog system with a corporate style. You can view the new area by clicking here.

You may have noticed that I’ve just updated my websites portfolio page as I wanted a nice clean crisp look to show off new design work.

Well i’ve had to move the blog over to my new server, here’s a catchup of what happened in the last few months..in image format.
